Event Description
On Saturday Feb. 8 2013, "Champs at the Case" presented a full night of exciting action in Delaware. The entire action from start to finish was broadcasted LIVE on GFL.tv and can still be order ONDemand for unlimited viewing for LIFE!

Frankie "The Freight Train" Filippone didn't quite live up to his nickname against veteran tough guy Kevin Engel. A more suitable nickname for the fight would have been "Flashy" Frankie Filippone because the boxer/cop used his flashiness and speed to befuddle Engel throughout the fight. Filippone used the ali Shuffle at one point to land punches as well as several other dance moves. Engel was simply not busy enough and seemed confused by Filippone's tactics throughout the fight. The judges scored the fight 97-93, 98-92, and 99-93 for the winnder via Unanimous Decision Frankie Filippone. With the victory Filippone picks p the very prestigious interim NABA Light Heavyweight title.

"The New" Ray Robinson looked to keep his winning streak intact as he faced Alberto Morales for the vacant interim NABA strap. In the 1st round, Robinson dropped Morales with a counter right uppercut but Morales arose and kept fighting. Robinson looked great keeping Morales at bay with his reach. Morales showed glimmers of hope throughout the fight but couldn't keep the rangy Robinson off of him. The judges scored the fight 100-89, 99-91, & 98-91 for your winner "The New" Ray Robinson.

Ryan Belsco & Bryne Green squared off in a rematch from their 2011 battle where Green won a controversial split decision. This time the fight was in Belasco's home court. Belasco started off the fight well and was giving Green problems for the first two rounds. Green came back in the 3rd rocking and hurting Belasco. Then he rocked and hurt him again in the 4th. Green seemed to land the better shots while being more aggressive in the 5th & 6th rounds. The judges did not seem to agree scoring the fight 59-55 Belasco, 58-56 Green, & 59-55 again for your winner via Split Decision Ryan Belasco.

Joey Tiberi over matched the game Moses Molina over the course of 4 rounds. Tiberi suffered a cut early but his cutman Joey Eye did a great job of keeping it at bay. The 19 year old Molina had his moments but was unable to keep Tiberi at bay. The judges scored the fight 39-37 x 3 for the winner Joey Tiberi (8-1).

Fan Favorite Luis Hernandez made his highly anticipated pro debut against Harlem's Curtis Morton. Hernandez had a significant reach advantage over the very game Morton. Morton took away the advantage by rushing the "green" Hernandez. The fight was close the entire 4 rounds but Hernandez seemed to have the better power shots and body work but Morton kept the pressure on. The fight could have been scored either way but the judges had it 39-37 for Morton & 39-37 x 2 for your winner via split Decision Luis Hernandez.

Melissa St Vil & Natasha "The Nightmare" Spence went to WAR over 6 close rounds! St Vil was showing why they call her "Little Tyson" early being a nightmare to "The Nightmare" land crisp power punches at will. Spence started playing catch up against the aggressor St vil in the later round but it seem it was a little to late. The judges cored the fight 76-76, 79-73 & 78-74 in favor of Melissa "Little Tyson" St Vil (4-1-2).

DMV Prospect & 18 year old prospect Dusty Hernandez-Harrison used his reach advantage to batter his 36 year old last minute opponent Kelly Wright. Harrison controlled the pac the entire fight before dropping Wright in the 3rd. Wright rose from the knockdown but Harrison attacked again forcing Wright's corner to call a halt to the action at the 1:39 mark of the 3rd Round.
