New England's longest running MMA promotion, Reality Fighting brought down the house with another stacked card in front of a packed crowd at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The exciting 10-bout card featured an epic battle for the Reality Fighting Heavyweight Title that saw the champion fights a former UFC Challenger.
In the main event, Gabriel "Napao" Gonzaga (12-6) defeated Parker Porter (5-3) to win the Reality Fighting Heavyweight Championship by arm triangle submission in Round 3. It was a back and forth fight with the majority of the fight taking place on the feet and turning into a kickboxing match. Gonzaga landed the harder shots but Parker always kept a pawing jab in the challenger's face. In the second round, Parker started landing cleaner kicks and punches. Round 3 started off the same as the first two with kickboxing, but then Gonzaga landed a beautiful combo followed by more solid punches that dropped Parker. Once things went to the mat, Gonzaga was in control and after first looking to sink in a rear naked choke, transitions to mount where he secured the fight-ending arm triangle and got the tapout victory. The co-main event Emil Haddad (3-0) defeated John McLaughlin (4-1) to win the Reality Fighting Bantamweight Title. Haddad won via knockout by head kick in Round 3. It was a great win by Haddad who defeated a Bellator veteran and won a championship all in one night. McLaughlin started on fire landing stiff shots on Haddad's head, but the challenger was able to take everything in stride. Things did not get any better for Haddad in Round 2, where McLaughlin continued to pick him apart in the standup. Round 3 looked to be more of the same until Haddad threw a pinpoint left high kick that connected flush on the jaw of McLaughlin. A perfect kick. McLaughlin immediately fell to the mat knocked out cold. It was an impressive victory for Haddad and showed everyone in the 145 lb division that the new champ can take a beating but battle back from it. Reality Fighting promoted another great card with exciting title fights that ended in submission and knockout.
