Event Description
Thanks to the promoter, this event is free to view! Happy New Year!

Utah's premier cage fighting event returns as Total Mayhem presents Mayhem at the Marriott LIVE on December 31 at the Marriott Ogden in Ogden, Utah. Fight fans, help celebrate the end of 2011 and ring in the New Year with an action-packed MMA card broadcast exclusively on GFL.tv.

In the main event, undefeated Jon Neal (4-0) battles Steve Walser (5-3) in a battle of Utah's finest. Neal has defeated 3 of his 4 opponents by stoppage all in the first round. Walser is on a two-fight winning streak and looks to put the first loss on Neal's perfect record. Neal has a background in wrestling so look for him to try and get Walser down to the mat earlier where he can work for control to land some strong ground and pound or work for a submission. Walser is a grappler himself so he is comfortable on the ground and probably even more so on his back. It's a spot that he is likely to see at least once during the match as Neal will probably be able to land a takedown. From there, Walser is his most dangerous with armbars and chokes. It should make for a very interesting and entertaining matchup.

The co-main event, DeAnna Bennett (2-0) fights newcomer Jamie Herod. Bennett will have the experience advantage and with 2 victories under her belt it should serve her well, especially in the opening round. For Herod, she was supposed to fight in November in Las Vegas, but that bout was scratched so she has had an even longer training camp to prepare for this bout. Women's MMA is growing by leaps and bounds and it's because of fighters like these two women. Expect a barnburner in this co-main event.

Watch the champions of tomorrow compete today! Don't miss this loaded event as Utah's own Total Mayhem presents Mayhem at the Marriott on December 31 exclusively on GFL.tv. Send 2011 off with a high octane MMA event. Order now!
