Prime Wrestlelution 4: Overdrive
Prime Wrestlelution 4: Overdrive: Full Event
PWO Wrestling kicked into it into Overdrive as Wrestlelution 4 lived up to the hype and delivered the best show in PWO history. The 3+ hour wrestling event showed why PWO is one of the top Independent organizations in North America. It had everything you could ask for and the wrestlers outdid themselves with how hard they worked inside the ring. The PWO Heavyweight Title was on the line in a No DQ match that you have to see to believe. In other action, the ending finally came to a match that was 10 years in the making! Also on the stacked card was WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana showing he still has "it" and the appearance of multi-time world champion, Kevin Nash who competed in the main event!
In the main event, former WWF and WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Kevin "Big Sexy" Nash teamed with "Omega" Aaron Draven to defeat "Big Rig" Brodie Lee and Marion Fontaine in a fast moving, hard-hitting, knock-down-drag-out tag team match. The end of the contest came after an awesome series of moves starting when Nash choke slammed Brodie Lee and Draven superplexed Fontaine off of the top rope. Draven would have gotten the easy pinfall, but Brodie Lee pulled the referee out of the ring at the count of two. Draven flew out of the ring landing on Lee, while Nash destroyed Fontaine with his patented Jackknife Power Bomb that he has used throughout his career to beat some of the best of all time. But that was not all...Draven got on the shoulders of Nash to deliver a flog splash for the 1-2-3!
In the co-main event, with the PWO Title at stake in a No Disqualification Match, Champion Jason Bane defeated "The Embodiment of Evil" Krimson to retain his title. After a bloody match that took a pound of flesh from both wrestlers, Bane was able to put a handful of power moves together, starting off with a suplex and ending with a Bane Line, his name for a Clothesline from Hell. Krimson took a lot of punishment in this match, but even the "Embodiment of Evil" himself could only summon up his strength so many times, before finally succumbing to the PWO Champion. With the victory, Jason Bane sets himself apart as one of the top champions on the Independent scene.
In a Match of the Night that was 10 years in the making "M-Dogg 20" Matt Cross defeated Johnny Gargano and Josh Prohibition when he delivered a Shooting Star Press landing on both Gargano and Prohibition. The hometown Cross proved the critics wrong when he defeated his arch nemesis Johnny Gargano and also Josh Prohibition in a fantastic match. It was a great moment for Cross who was cut earlier this year on the recent season of Tough Enough. The crowd came unglued for Cross who showed in this match that he does have what it takes to succeed and thrive on the national scene.
Wrestlelution 4, was PWO's greatest show of all time. PWO has a great roster of talented, young wrestlers waiting to break out and show the world what they can do. They got that opportunity with this card as it was streamed across the globe and they delivered in every way possible. For pro wrestling fans this show embodies what is right about the business and there is no dout that you will enjoy this well-produced, well executed event. Order the pay-per-view now, only on GFL.tv!
