Boxing, MMA and Muay Thai collided on a crash course in Woodland Hills, California. On a warm Thursday night, June 21st , in the Grand Ballroom of the Warner Center Marriott in Woodland Hills, California, Ivaylo Gotzev's Epic Sports & Entertainment and All Star Promotions rose to its feet in presenting the very best "Mixed Combats: which premiered the Rising Stars of Boxing, MMA and Muay Thai". The sold out night was filled with the talented and hard-hitting professional Boxing, MMA and Muay Thai; "Mixed Combats" which gave fans a premiere in depth look at several up-and-coming stars in three separate fighting disciplines.

Highlights of the main event and select featured fights included the MMA showdown between two seasoned veterans, Ricky ?¢??Ice Cold?¢?? Shivers and Mychal "Bolo" Clark. Barra Gracie Black Belt Ricky "Ice Cold" Shivers has previously fought in Shark Fights and King of the Cage, but responded to the toughest challenge of his career in Strikeforce veteran Mychal "Bolo" Clark of Long Beach who fights for Antonio McKee's Body Shop. It was Ricky Shivers who defeated Mychal Clark where the fight was stopped at 2:38 of Round 2 due to strikes, in which he could not defend against.

The co-featured MMA bout was a catch weight at 215 between two local fighters. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World champion Adriano Camolese fighting out of Team Nogeura Blackhouse faced off against True Warrior's Justin "Bully" Shark. The stage was set for was the classic Grappler vs. Striker match up where Schalk aka The Bully opened up the first round with a huge over hand right which nearly finished the fight. Camolese in desperation attempted to compose himself as Schalk smelled blood and charges in for the finish. Camolese works for the clinch and begins landing knees to the body ala Anderson Silva. Schark is visibly hurt after four knees and shoots in for a take down, but gets reversed and ends up on the bottom. Camolese tries to finish the fight with punches, but repositions himself to side control and finishes Schalk with an arm triangle at the 2:08 of the first round.

In his MMA 155-lb light weight debut, Russian amateur boxing and wrestling champion Georgiy Savlokhov took on Machado Jui-Jitsu black belt Raphael Carrao, the Owner and Instructor at Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Malibu Club. Savlokhov establish himself in the cage by rushing out to take the center of the ring while throwing heavy punches with Correa positioning for the takedown. After a few misdirected exchanges, Correa pulled a beautiful leg sweep which resulted in a takedown into the mount and promptly finished Savlokhov with a barrage of pummeling hard hitting sadistic punches. The fight was stopped at 1:08 of Round 1 due to strikes.

Event promoter Ivaylo Gotzev who is best known as a boxing manager, having expertly guided the careers of former heavyweight champion Sam Peter, as well as all-time-great multi-division champion James Toney, former heavyweight champions Sergei Liakhovich and Shannon Briggs and a host of others has now reincarnated himself in returning to the scene as the preeminent MMA promoter. "I'm a big fan of the fight game and I.ve come to realize that great fighters, no matter the sport, have all the same qualities of spirit, skill and strong determination. Mixed Combats was created to give a platform to fighters from every discipline."

No one came away disappointed as all expectations were far exceeded. On this hot evening Ivaylo Gotzev's Epic Sports & Entertainment gave birth to a new promotion team which will feature another sequel of packed action fight night scheduled for the Valley later this summer.
