Ultimate Reno Combat 34

Northern Nevada's premier cage fighting event returns as "Ultimate Reno Combat 34" premiers live on June 29, at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. Voted the #1 Amateur MMA Event in the Nation, URC always showcases the top up and coming fighters from around Nevada and California. URC 34 will be no different as the very best of the best in the amateur ranks will compete in the cage where Blood Happens!

In the main event, Mike Crowell (3-2) from Team Voodoo fights Ricky Steele (2-0) from Twisted Genetiks in a featherweight barnburner. Crowell is a URC vet having fought for the organization three times already and with his familiarity in the URC cage, he is sure to start off fast. Crowell likes to mix it up and has a well-rounded skillset that always makes him a dangerous fighter, even to the bitter end. Crowell has excellent cardio conditioning and is prepared to grind away and go the distance against Steele if necessary. Steele comes into the bout undefeated and making his debut for URC. A submission specialist Steele comes down to Reno from Idaho and looks to leave with a victory. Steele is also a strong wrestler who likes to control the fight on the mat. Both Crowell and Steele will look to excite the crowd with a fast paced fight.

In the co-main event, Gio Mackey (1-1) from Reno Academy of Combat takes on Franky Delgado (0-2) from Mountain Warrior Fight Club in a light heavyweight slugfest. Mackey is a mack truck of a man, standing 6'4" and throws everything but the kitchen sink at his opponents. He loves the knockout and his style of fighting has made him a fan favorite early on in his career. The Californian, Delgado is looking for his first win in the sport as he travels to Nevada and this bout promises not to disappoint as both 205 lb fighters plan to give the judges the night off in their bout. Look for haymakers and punches in bunches when these two lock up in the cage.
