Event Description

Ultimate Reno Combat 20 is in the books. 8 of the night's thirteen bouts were finished within the three round limit. In the evening's main event Mike Morales took on Scott Rosa. If not for a point deduction caused by strikes to the back of the head, Rosa would have walked away victorious. Unfortunately the point caused him to lose by majority decision. The co-main event saw Derek Formosa and Tyler Cowan battle back and forth for three rounds. Formosa won the bout by unanimous decision. Lamar Gosey and Dru Bowman put on one hell of a battle in a fight that was extremely close. All three judges scored the fight 29-28 with two of them awarding the contest to Gosey who won by split decision. The rest on the night's fights were extremely entertaining with 6 contests ending via submission.
