Tuff-N-Uff calls themselves the future stars of mixed martial arts and with the shows they have been putting on, no one can argue with them. This past Friday night at The Orleans in Las Vegas the amateur organization continued their run of excellence with their Future Stars of MMA series.
In the main event the welterweight title was up for grabs as Eddie Jackson took on Joey Angelo. After three rounds of action the judges were unanimous and Jackson is the new welterweight champion.
Playboy model turned mixed martial artist Latasha Marzolla of the Team Wand Fight Team took on Nikki Rae Lowe in an 125lb matchup. Unfortunately for Marzolla her night ended prematurely when she dislocated her shoulder while attempting a takedown. It is not known how long she will be out of action.
Jessica Martinez the U.S. Olympic Tae Kwon Do Team qualifier and Autumn Richardson battled it out in a 135lb match-up. Richardson a Team Quest product was awarded the victory from the judges.
All in all there were 13 exciting bouts with fighters representing Xtreme Couture, Team Quest, Wand Fight Team, Tapout, Striking Unlimited and 10th Planet.
Tuff-N-Uff will be back at The Orleans in less than three weeks on November 12.
