Event Description

Western Canada's top MMA promotion returns as Hard Knocks Fighting Championship presents School of Hard Knocks 21 Estevan, March 3 at the Spectra Place. The action packed 7-bout amateur card features many of the top up and coming superstars of the Great White North. HKFC is the top proving ground for rising prospects in Western Canada and the 21st installment promises to deliver great fights once again.

In the main event, Derek Parker (1-0) battles Lloyd Valey (1-0) in a middleweight scrap. Parker and Valey are both new to the game but were impressive in their first fights. Parker won via second round TKO which shows he has power in his striking while Valey was victorious by unanimous decision which shows he has great conditioning. Because both fighters are so young in the sport there are still a lot of unknown variables in this matchup. Who has the better grappling? Which fighter has the better takedowns? All this and more will be answered as Parker and Valey step in to the cage and show the fans what they are made of.

In co-main event, Denis "The Nemisis" Papineau (1-0) fights Ryan Torrance (0-0) in a bantamweight tilt. Papineau won his first bout by TKO stoppage and for Torrance this will be his debut. Expect these two 135 lb fighters to be like two Tasmanian devils in the cage as this weight class has the most exciting fights in all of MMA. These two fighters will come in superb shape and be able to go 10 rounds so their scheduled 3 round fight will be a war.
