The weigh-in for Ring of Fire 38, was easily the best thing happening in Colorado this hot Friday night. here is what came out of the weigh-in
Vinnie 'the Assault Lopez is one bad dude. Kasheem 'The Dream' Peterson has everything it takes to be a great fighter, now let's see what he does in the ring. Chaun Sims is exactly like you think he'll be, down to earth and very approachable. If he can match his charisma with skill, this guy is going to be main event material at a higher level very shortly. He was relaxed and ready to go. Saving it all for the fight. Chris 'The Hammer' Holland is not easily intimidated. Even in a stare down that was the most extreme of the night with Lopez, his eyes never moved. Afterward, a red welt could be seen on Holland's forehead where Lopez pushed against him. These two fighters are literally going to go to war. Everyone is talking about the Holland/Lopez fight, but I'm going out on a limb. Fight of the night winner, Martinez/Davis. On that, Danny 'DeeOne' Davis Jr. is all heart. Filling in after fighting just two weeks ago. No matter what happens, I'm going to follow this kid and I recommend every else does too. I am really anxious to see Audrey Pang and Michelle Blalock duke it out. Those two ladies have enough character to fill the whole of the arena. Pang told me, smiling at a very excited trainer, 'We've got some big surprises up our sleeves.' |
