Event Description

Ring of Combat returns to The Tropicana in Atlantic City, NJ on Friday night with a 15 bout card. ROC XXXIII is headlined by Sean Santella vs. Lenny Lovato. Lovato suffered his first career loss to current UFC lightweight Gabe Ruediger this past July at Tachi Palace Fights 5. Undefeated Chris Weidman will look to run his record to 4-0 as he takes on Valdir Araujo. Weidman trains with former UFC welterweight champion Matt Serra and has finished all three of his opponents in less than three minutes into the first round. Araujo is 5-1 with his only loss coming to UFC veteran Lucio Linhares in June of 2009.
