Ring of Combat XXXII is in the books and once again Lou Neglia's fighters brought their "A" game. The mixed martial arts card was just part of the weekends MMA Expo held at the Trump Taj Mahal.
John Cholish won the organizations lightweight title with a reverse triangle choke on Rich Moskowitz at 3:05 of round three.
Kim Couture took on MMA newcomer Munah Holland in the co-main event, but walked away with a unanimous decision loss.
ROC veteran Constantinos Phillippou and Marcus Finch ended prematurely as Phillippou landed an unintentional groin shot midway through the second round. Finch could not continue in what was an otherwise competitive fight.
Randy Smith and Brendan Barrett had waged a war of words over the past few months and few expected this bout to make it out of the first round. In fact the fight made it to the judges scorecards who could not agree on a winner. The result being a split draw with each fighter winning 29-28 and the third judge scoring it 29-29.
Ring of Combat returns to the Tropicana on December 3rd.
