Event Description

IFC Genesis takes place on November 9, 2010 at the Nokia Arena in Tel Aviv Israel. For the first time ever cage fighting comes to Israel. Mixed martial artists from all over the world meet some of Israel's most respected fighters. Former UFC veterans like Frank Trigg, Hermes Franca, Ricco Rodriguez and Sokodjou will be competing. Also the first family of MMA, the Gracies, will be represented as Daniel Gracie makes his long awaited return to the cage. International sensations Jeff "The Snowman" Monsoon and Daniel Tabera also will be stepping into the octagon. Noted Israeli fighters such as Ido Pariente, Moshe Kaitz and Ariel Abargel will also compete. Haim Gozali, a well known Renzo Gracie blackbelt and head of the Israeli ADCC, Abu Dhabi Combat Championship is the matchmaker.
