The newest promotion to burst onto the scene is Helster MMA Fight League which made its debut on GFL.tv with "Unleashed". The 15-bout amateur card featured 3 title fights and had 9 stoppages as Helster MMA Fight League proved they are here to stay.
In the main event, Jordan Stiner defeated Bill Borowski via kimura submission in round two for the 161 lb championship. It was a great fight as both men picked their spots in round one, with Stiner landing some solid strikes but Borowski coming back and dishing out some punishment of his own. But in the second when the fight hit the mat, Stiner worked his game plan to perfection as he isolated Borowski's arm and applied the fight ending submission hold. In the co-main event, PJ Palmer defeated Scott Krampetz via unanimous decision after three rounds on 30-27 scorecards across the board to win the 154 lb title. Palmer won every facet of the fight landing heavier more effective strikes that took the steam out of Krampetz. On the ground, Palmer was also more active landing, landing strikes that kept Krampetz on the defense.
In the third championship bout of the night, Jamie Allebach defeated Mike Pastor via arm triangle in round one to win the 168 lb title. The fight hit the ground almost immediately and Allebach went to work as he got side control and secured Pastor's own arm against his neck and began to crank away until the referee stepped in due to tapout. It was an impressive showing for Allebach.
