Event Description

This Friday we rebroadcast the GFL event from the Capitol Theatre in Concord, New Hampshire the Global Fight League presents "Unified" featuring the GFL's first championship match, a Bantamweight title fight between Matt Smith (5-2), of Renzo Gracie New Hampshire, and 'Lil Papi' Christian Rivera (3-3), of Wai Kru. In this their fourth effort in 'The Granite State' the GFL is putting forth a rock-solid fight card set to rival any promotion running in September. In addition to the aforementioned title fight "Unified" features one of the hottest young Middleweights in the area, Sityodtong's Scotty Nichols, taking on elder statesmen Scott Rehm (4-3), of Pro Elite; Sityodtong's Tateki Matsuda (2-1) versus Aguilano Brandao (7-4) of Brazilian Martial Arts Center at Featherweight; and Team Burgess's Jay 'Mr. Nasty' Fortier (5-4) battling Team Fury's Jeff Soucie (3-2) in the Welterweight Division.
