Fight Tour: Euro TAT2

Fight Tour is back and ready to deliver another stacked card August 20 with Euro Tat2, a highly anticipated MMA/Music combo event featuring several UFC veterans, including the former UFC Heavyweight Champion, live musical performances by Saliva and The Pimps and former UFC Champions Rich Franklin and Jens "Lil Evil" Pulver as Special Guests. Euro Tat2 is highlighted by a 15-bout MMA that takes place at the Rockford Metro Centre in Rockford, Illinois.

In the main event, former 2X UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim "The Maine-iac" Sylvia (28-7) battles Patrick Barrentine (9-5) in a classic striker versus grappler matchup. There will also be a huge contrast in size as Sylvia checks in at 6'8" while Barrentine is 5'11". For Sylvia the strategy will be to keep Barrentine at a distance with his long reach and finish the fight with a knockout. For Barrentine, you have to figure he wants to do the complete opposite. Barrentine will get picked apart if he cannot close the distance, so look for him to try and land a takedown early on and use his top notch grappling to work for a submission against the long-limbed Sylvia. This contrast in game-plans and styles should make for an interesting headliner.

In the co-main event, ISCF Heavyweight Champion and Rockford native Shayne "Grizzly" Adams (5-3) fights Bellator veteran William Penn (4-3). In a battle of top up and comers, expect this fight to be full of fireworks as both men like to throw leather. A decisive win here for either gladiator could lead to a big break with a national promotion and you can bet both Adams and Penn will look to deliver a Fight of the Night performance ending with a brutal knockout. Donâ??t blink because this fight could end in seconds.

Also on the card is a matchup between two UFC veterans, Sean Salmon (17-12) and LaVerne Clark (26-18-1). Both fighters have been in the cage with the best in the world and this bout will show that one of these athletes is ready to make one more run against the top fighters on the planet.

Chicago native "Lil Bulldog" Felice Herrig (6-3) is also ready for battle as she will face undefeated Kelly Warren (3-0). Herrig fights out of Team Curran while Warren is a member of Jacksonâ??s MMA so expect a high level of skill level in this women's bout. Both women are highly proficient in grappling so this match could be a very exciting on the ground with both women going for one submission hold after another.
