Event Description

Howard Davis Jr.'s Fight Time Promotions presents Fight Time 8 - It's Fight Time, a 10-bout card on February 17 for FREE at the War Memorial Auditorium in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Fight Time Promotions is the proving ground for all up and coming MMA fighters in the South Florida region and this card is sure to showcase future world champions. The women take center stage as two of the top female mixed martial artists headline the card.

In the main event, Jessica "Jag" Aguilar (12-4) fights Patricia "Little" Vidonic (5-1). Aguilar is a multi-time Bellator vet and been in the game since 2006. She is riding a 3-fight win streak and is an exciting fighter as 9 of her victories have come via submission or TKO. A strong grappler, Aguilar will look to mix it up in the standup but get the fight to the mat eventually and try to work for a choke or armbar most likely. For Vidonic, who is riding an impressive 5-fight win streak with the last 3 coming via submission she will be more than comfortable if the fight hits the mat. Already a champion for another organization, Vidonic has championship experience and headlining this fight will not faze her in the slightest. Get ready for a action packed main event as these two fighters lock horns in the cage.

In the co-main event, American Top Team's Mike Bruno (9-4) battles Travis Cox (6-11-1). This is a matchup that is a big deal on the local scene as both fighters are from Florida and will bring a huge following to the show. Bruno has been a Fight Time mainstay and is currently on a 3-fight win streak. More of a grappler, expect Bruno to try and get Cox to the mat and look for a submission. Cox is a powerhouse and should have the strength advantage inside the cage. A strong wrestler, Cox will be able to get the takedown, but he might try and duke it out on his feet, to avoid Bruno's ground game. There should be fireworks in this bout from the opening bell.
