An exciting night of mixed martial arts is in the books. Evolution Fighting Championships came to Wayne, NJ on Friday night and left quite an impression on the fans.
Two of the eight bouts ended in 11 seconds or less. Michael Caulo defeated Michael D'Urso by knockout in just 11 seconds. Not to be out done, Ben Syers needed just four seconds to knock Bobby Ascolillo out in the first round of their bout.
Two bouts ended in the third round via submission and another ended midway through the second round via tapout. The three bouts that went to the judges scorecards were so close that none of them were unanimous. Two of them were majority decision and the third ended in a split decision.
