XFE XXI

Xtreme Fight Events returns on March 23 with XFE XXI, a stacked pro/am card, featuring a title fight, emanating from the Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. XFE has quickly solidified itself in Pennsylvania as the top-tier MMA event where rising stars step into the battleground looking to destroy their opponent.

In the main event, Bellator veteran Scott Heckman (14-3) battles Larry DiGiulio (8-6-1) in a bout to crown the XFE Featherweight Champion. Heckman is on a 6-fight win streak with 5 coming via stoppage. Heckman has proven he's one of the premier 145 lb fighters on the East Coast and a win here would cement his legacy in the region. Heckman is an expert grappler with a strong wrestling base, but also likes to throw hands and is dangerous from anywhere in the cage. DiGiulio comes into the bout representing the Midwest as the Chicago fighter looks to continue to raise his stock on the East Coast. DiGiulio is also a grappling specialist as most of his wins have come via tapout and he trains with a solid camp, back in Chi-Town. DiGiulio is battle-tested and loves to press the action in his fights. These two warriors will resemble Tasmanian devils once the cage closes as there will be no stop or quit in either one of them.

In other action, Rick Nuno (1-1) faces Kenny Jordan (1-0) in another bout that should be a barnburner. Nuno and Jordan are both just starting their pro careers out after very successful stints as amateurs and are looking to continue that momentum as pros. Nuno possesses heavy hands and can end the fight with one punch, while Jordan likes to take the fight to the mat, where he picked up his first pro win via submission. This contrast in strengths makes for a very intriguing battle.
