Event Description
Atlantic City, NJ - On Saturday, October 22nd, 2011 live from the New Resorts Hotel and Casino, Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) will crown a new middleweight champion when undefeated prospect, Tim Williams takes on Damian Dantibo. Williams, a native of Millville, New Jersey has amassed an undefeated amateur (6-0) and professional (6-0) record with his last victory coming against UFC veteran, Andre Gusmao, by technical knockout at CFFC 7: No Mercy. "Beating Gusmao really changed my career," Williams says. "I went from trying to fight for any large organization to waiting on the call from Zuffa. I had multiple managers calling me looking to represent me. It made me feel great that all these eyes were on me. It really made me hungry because I know how close I am to being a fulltime fighter."

Before reaching his goal, Williams must go battle another tough adversary in Dantibo who currently holds the Cage Inc. middleweight title with a professional record of 7-2. He also has aspirations for competing at another level but knows that Williams will be his toughest test to date. "I'm excited to fight a tough up-and-comer," says Dantibo. "I want only the top guys. The more of them I beat the quicker I can make the UFC." Although Dantibo will be walking into a packed arena filled with Williams' supporters, he remains confident and will not be anyone's stepping stone. "I will be winning the belt that night for CFFC and making a statement. Don't miss this fight!"

A fight of this magnitude was something that CFFC President, Rob Haydak Jr., couldn't wait to put on and it was all smiles when the contracts arrived. "Damian and Timmy are worthy of being on any fight card in America," says Haydak. "To have the both of them on our card for October 22nd is simply awesome. These two guys are explosive and well on their way to being household names in the MMA community". The excitement level for this fight has been incredible since the announcement was made just a few hours ago. But the most excited person maybe one of the challengers. "The fight for the title at CFFC is awesome because I love fighting for this organization and would be happy to have a belt there," added Williams. "They are very professional and they take care of me."

Eddie Fyvie versus Joey Gambino makes it three title bouts for CFFC XI: Danger Zone!

Atlantic City, NJ - Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) has added another title fight to an already stacked card as Eddie Fyvie battles Joey Gambino for the featherweight crown on Saturday, October 22nd, live from the Superstar Theatre at the new Resorts in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Joey Gambino has a professional record of 7-0 and has stopped all seven of his opponents. He has shown versatility as fighter winning by either TKO or submission. He looks at this as his biggest opportunity of his young MMA career. "I am very excited to be fighting for Cage Fury especially that it is near my hometown and will have lots of family and friends there," said Gambino. "That motivates me to do even better. I appreciate the opportunity I have been given and promise to do my all to make it a memorable one."

After losing two in a row, Eddie Fyvie came back strong with a unanimous decision victory over Lester Caslow at CFFC 7: No Mercy. Fyvie has the experience factor over Gambino and has faced stiffer competition, but he isn't looking past the young fighter. "At the present moment, my only focus is the CFFC title," says Fyvie. "No one will get in my way. Joey Gambino is a tough opponent, but he will not be able to match my technical skill. My knowledge and experience will lead me to victory."

Who will win this battle of two rising stars? Find out on October 22nd, 2011! Get your tickets at www.ticketmaster.com or from your fighter.
