The fight card features 6 bouts, featuring a National Boxing Authority Canadian Middleweight Elimination contest between Stuart McLellan of Williams Lake, BC and Chris Aucoin of Brantford, Ontario in what promises to be action from bell-to-bell in the Main Event. McLellan who fought as a welterweight early in his career has fought his last seven bouts in the Super Welterweight and Middleweight Divisions and carries a record of seven wins, with no losses and three draws to the ring. Aucoin, like McLellan campaigned as a welterweight early in his career, moving up the ranks fighting as a Middleweight and Super Middleweight along the way.
The Semi Final will see Alexander "Sandy" Robb, now fighting out of Moncton, New Brunswick, and formerly of Scotland against Dwayne Storey of Moncton, NB over 4 rounds.. Alexander "Sandy" Robb enters the ring with 8 wins 0 losses and 1 draw with 4 KO'S and is currently ranked 3rd by the National Boxing Authority. Dwayne Storey (4-7-0) of Moncton, NB, a seasoned veteran of the ring, with experience against the likes of former Canadian Champion Ron Savoie and more recently Didier Bence of Laval, Quebec, provides increased interest to the card. Storey, at 43 is now entering the ring for the 3rd time after a 10 year absence from the sport. In the early 1990s, Storey was the Maritime Champion after scoring victories over Bernard Daigle and Paul Morrissey.
Last Round Boxer intends to offer Mr. Arsenault an opportunity to challenge for the Cruiserweight Championship early in the new year.
SPECTACULAR UNDER CARD:
In other action, Marcel "Little Magic" Maillet of Pointe de Chene, NB takes on seasoned professional boxer and former Canadian Champion Ron Savoie of Eel River Crossing, NB for the National Boxing Authority Maritime Super Welterweight Championship over six rounds. Richard Arsenault of Summerside, PEI makes his boxing debut against veteran Guy Desforges of Moncton, NB in a 4 round Cruiserweight match-up. Arsenault carries an 8-2 MMA record into the ring against Desforges who has fought some of the best fighters in the Cruiserweight Division during his career.
In the third Cruiserweight match-up of the evening, Nathan Guitard of Campbellton, NB makes his professional boxing debut against Denis Martin of Edmundston, NB. Martin has 2 wins and a split decision loss to Chris Norrad, the current NABA Cruiserweight Champion early in their respective careers. Guitard also has MMA experience to his credit. John Brown of Indian Brook, Nova Scotia, sees action against Ryan Burgess of Halifax in a Light-Welterweight rematch. Brown, a former amateur boxer and MMA fighter makes his boxing debut against the rugged Burgess in what promises to be a toe-to-toe affair. Burgess had a distinguished amateur kick-boxer career.
