(January 23, 2012)—Last
Thursday night an overflow crowd
packed the Hilton Garden Inn in Staten Island, New York to see an
exciting five
bout card that saw Mikey Faragon score an impressive knockout over
Andres
Ledesma in round three of a scheduled eight rounf bout. The
entire
show was seen LIVE all over the world on www.gfl.tv Faragon took out Ledesma with a wicked uppercut in round three that had the Colombian down for the ten count at 2:17 of round three. With the victory, Faragon improves his unblemished mark to 17-0 with eight knockouts. Staten Island’s own Nicky DeMarco thrilled his legions of fans by scoring a four round unanimous decision over Cesar Gonzalez in a Lightweight tussle. DeMarco dropped Gonzalez in the second frame and was all over Gonzalez that had the crowd noise at deafening levels. DeMarco controlled the action and coasted home to the easy victory. Woman’s sensation Diana Prazak made a successful American debut as the Australian scored a six round unanimous decision over Canadian Lucia Larcinese. Popular New Yorker Tommy Rainone put on a marvelous boxing display in scoring a four round unanimous decision over rugged Josh Williams. In the opening bout, Anthony “Juice” Young looked spectacular in taking out Clifford McPherson in round two of their four round Welterweight bout. |
